Painted by many a Dutch artist on a rainy weekend - Holland lives up to the name of "Land of the lowland sky", put your jackets on and experience. 

Open Seams

With the invention of modern sewing machines often more traditional sewing technics and skills are forgotten. One of these is the open seam which takes the skill of a machinist to keep the fabric straight as they place to the two edges together and sew together. The raw edge of the seam is then also turned bound and finished giving the edges a neat finish. In our more tailored pieces where silhouette and cut lines are important we use this type of seaming, bound with a chambray for a causal look.

Glorious Autumn day in Holland

Autumn is setting in with all its glorious colours and on a great sunny morning - there is nothing better than being wrapped up against the cold and heading out (even if it is to work). So put your jacket on and head out to explore.  

Mountain Pilot Jacket

Inspired by a combination of pilot jackets and mountain ranger jackets - the Mountain pilot jacket comes in a cracked wax cotton with six pockets, fleece lined and a half sherpa lining in hood as well.

From the archive

Here is one of the jackets we are inspired by from our archive so we thought we would share it - its a old Carhartt workwear jacket heavily used, the oil staining is great along with the colour fading around the collar and the way the fabric has naturally taken shape on the sleeves and in the pockets through wearing.  

Things that inspire us

We are half way through the development of the Fall/13 collection and one of the key items that inspire us this season is the 2 button casual tweed blazer. Traditionally translated for suit jackets into casual sports jackets for weekend huntsman to relax in after a day in the field. This gave us inspiration for our new blazer mixing the traditional with modern design - all will be reviled in December.
